How long have you been in business?
Dr Ted Degenhardt started practicing dentistry in the Troy area an 1979. 30 years later his practice in Troy has grown to service patients from the entire Oakland County, Metro Detroit as well as his European patients from countries including Germany, Italy and France. His family includes his wife, Colleen, and their 5 children. Knowing the importance of great service and complete family dentistry, he has specialized in treating families and servicing all the dental needs both routine, unexpected and elective cosmetically.
What is your primary product or service?
Technology has dramatically changed dentistry and Dr Degenhardt has most deffinatley kept up with the lastest dentistry has to offer. From a computer papperless office and "Green" environment, his use of digital x-rays, intraoral cameras and Cad-Cam technology offering "one visit" porcelain crowns.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dr Ted Degenhardt spent his childhood in Ferndale, MI and attended St James catholic school through 8th grade. At the age of 13, his father sent him to University of Detroit High School, a Jesuit run college preparatory school where he graduated in 1979. He earned his undergraduate degree in Bio Chemestry from Michigan State University and his Dental Degree from University of Detroit Dental School. His passion for excellence and goal to provide the best dentistry has to offer has been a high priority in his life. His affiliation with The Pankey Institute, The Kois Institute for Advance Dental Education, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and local study groups and memberships continues to be a high priority in his practice.

Service is a number one priority and every effort is taken to meet your dental needs. The Degenhardt Dental Team is well trained and has a passion for excellence, and goes above and beyond to meet you, your families and friends dental needs. We also offer German language transulations and are very fortunate to have a German descent assistant who makes our German patients stay here in Michigan a great experience.

We are located in the heart of Troy, MI off I75 at the Big Beaver exit. The office is 1 block south of Big Beaver on the west side of Crooks Rd. A popular landmark if the 7-11 store next to his building.
