Respected university offers a wide range of educational options
Oakland University is strong school growing stronger, setting new records for enrollment and research expenditures. Set amid more than 1,400 acres of rolling hills, the university was founded in 1957 and now offers more than 133 bachelor's degree programs and 128 graduate degree and certificate programs. The Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine welcomed its inaugural class in 2011 and the OU partnership with the Thomas M. Cooley Law School provides graduate-level legal education.
Continuing education, professional certifications, and custom programs for local companies are provided by the OU Professional and Continuing Education department (PACE). PACE courses are non-credit and do not require admission to the university. They are a terrific way to enhance a resume, hone skills, or train for a new career. Learn more at www.oakland.edu/pace
For recreational opportunities on campus, tour National Historic Landmark Meadow Brook Hall, take in a show at Meadowbrook Theatre, or catch a basketball game by our Division I Golden Grizzlies. OU is involved with the community and we love to have the community involved with OU.
